Hurricane Hanna Comming
Today it was been a scramble to get everything together before we get the brunt of the storm. I have been running around all morning trying to get certain things out of the way like buying Duct Tape, Candles, Soup, Batteries, Water and other key items.
This morning when I awoke I thought of Hanna first so I switched on my television to see what the latest information was. I was informed that Hanna was a category 1 hurricane with 80 miles of winds. I was later relieved at the next advisory at eight o'clock that Hanna had been down graded to a Tropical Storm at 70 miles per hour.
Hanna, whether she will be a Tropical Storm or a Hurricane, will be hitting the Island of New Providence on Thursday. The odds are that she will be a hurricane but I still have hope that she will not intensify too much or hit us directly. I am more worried about Ike, but you gotta watch the whole thing...keep your eyes open!
"Hanna is the eighth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season and comes on the heels of Gustav, which was battering the Gulf Coast on Monday. An eventual strike on the U.S. mainland was in the forecast." ~ ABC news

was here
I know you are all battening down the hatches but just wanted to let you know that we will be thinking of our friends and colleagues in the Bahamas, as Cayman had to do the same last week and hope that the results will be the same – minimal damage to you and yours and properties.
Be safe and careful. God Bless.
