First time at 'Bambu' - Nassau, Bahamas

Last night my brother and I headed to a new bar/club/social water hole that we were invited to check out by one of the owners.

When I first arrived on the curb of 'Bambu' I smelt the sent of horse shit in the air. As I entered the establishment, I still felt the odor forcing it's way up my nostrils. I never mentioned this to anyone as I thought that it was bloody obvious. After consuming my first cocktail I no longer smelt the sweet perfume smell of a horse's ass. I did however feel that my legs were going to drop off.

The stools at the bar are made of solid, and I mean solid wood. It's pretty heavy too, so no one's going to be able to steal any of them easily, but on the other hand, they'd make great weapons in a bar fight. I might as well have been sitting on a rock cause the stool was so hard, - they are going to need to get cushions. Pins and needles, if you know what I mean.

The music was like house music - very slow and monotonice. Dino, my old school mate, was the DJ and I informed him that he was playing good music with great base lines. This was after I had a number of drinks and the music actually had changed to good music. I started to jam until I found out that the drinks are $6 each and I was been charged $12 for my personal cup to be filled (I always travel with my own cup in Nassau). WTF? These guys must be retarded! There is absolutely no way that this place will survive for too long with that mentality.
